Lens Definition: Image-Pro provides you a way to manage lens definitions so that they can be associated with cameras and the images captured from those cameras.  It is useful to link captured images to a specific lens so that magnification, refractivity, aperture, and other characteristics of the lens that affect the quality and appearance of the image data can be recalled for use in image analysis and calculations.  

Also, spatial calibrations can be associated with lenses and, when the lens is applied to the camera prior to capturing images, Image-Pro automatically applies the associated lens specifications and spatial calibration definition to all subsequent captured images. This way you don't have to worry about apply lens and spatial calibration characteristics to captured images after they have been captured.
